The Christmas Tag

Hello lovelies! It's not even four full days until Christmas now so it's most definitely an appropriate time to have a Christmas themed post. The beautiful Conny tagged me in this Christmas post so thank you, Conny!

Here we go..

Do you prefer a real Christmas tree or synthetic?

Well I've only ever had synthetic trees so I can't really compare the two.. it has to be synthetic because I don't have a clue about real Christmas trees, haha. Here, have a picture of our lovely synthetic tree..

You're in a coffee shop, it's December, what do you pick up?

It really depends what I'm in the mood for at that time to be honest. & I'm a huge sucker for good advertising so if there's posters up with nice Christmassy drinks on them, I'll most likely go for that! However, if I'm feeling indecisive I'll most likely go for a boring ol' (but very tasty) hot chocolate.

What's your favorite color scheme for decorating the tree?

Definitely silver and red. I love these colours so much at Christmas. My own little Christmas tree in my bedroom is a little unconventional though.. it has blue lights, all the usual baubles but also some cute little zombies, haha! It's super cute if I do say so myself.

Giving or receiving?

I'm going to be honest and say both. I love buying people presents suited perfectly to them and seeing their faces when they open it.. but I also love seeing the thought that others put into gifts for me and seeing what people think I'll like :-)

Mince pie or not?

Oh gosh, we were all talking about mince pies in work last night and everyone is disgusted that I don't like them. I've tried to make myself like them but I just don't and that is that.

What's your traditional Christmas lunch?

All the usual.. turkey, stuffing, potatoes, vegetables, gravy etc. Yum yum! I can't wait :-) I also can't wait for Christmas breakfast.. croissants and bacon, oh yes!

Christmas day fashion

Because we're staying at home this year, I'll most likely go for something very comfortable like my Christmas jumper and some leggings.. and of course a Santa hat :-) haha!

What's your favourite Christmas song?

Fairy tale of New York.. without a doubt.

What's your favourite Christmas film?

Elf! Omg, I loveeee it. It's just too funny and it can just cheer me up in any mood. A few of my other favourites are The Grinch, The Muppet Christmas Carol and The Polar Express. Aww, I do love Christmas films.

Open presents before or after lunch?

Oh my, before! Definitely! I do not understand how you can wait. That's the whole reason to get up early on Christmas morning. Even though I'm now 18, I know I'll still make sure everyone is up and all the presents are open before 8am. I am suuuuper excited.

So that's all of the questions of the Christmas tag. I'm getting so excited now writing this post. I haven't been in the Christmas spirit as much this year simply because this is the first year that I have a job and I feel like I'm working non-stop.. thankfully I have Christmas Eve, Christmas Day and Boxing Day off though. Yay :-)
I hope you're all feeling festive and you all have an absolutely wonderful Christmas. Make sure to spend lots of time with your loved ones as I'm recently realising how you really don't know how much time you have left with them.. so do that and enjoy yourselves as much as possible.

I tag my wonderful girly Mollie (who needs to start blogging more), the beautiful Hannah and the lovely Elizabeth to also do this little post!

Thanks for reading lovelies. Until next time, goodbye and Merry Christmas!

- xoxo
