Garnier Micellar Cleansing Water | Review

Hello lovelies! So, I would say I'm an extreme procrastinator when it comes to studying and this evening, my way of procrastinating is by writing a little review.

Before I started working in Superdrug back in October, I had never actually heard of Micellar Water. Previously I had used Nivea Visage Daily Essentials Toner but when it ran out, I went on the hunt for a new product to try. I asked one of the girls that I worked with what she would recommend and she pointed me in the direction of this Garnier Micellar Cleansing Water. She explained that instead of using a separate make-up remover, cleanser and toner that I could just use this alone. I honestly didn't totally believe her until I tried it for myself & oh, was she right!?

Using I would have used a make-up remover, then a cleanser and a toner and then continued on to wash my face with pure water but now I can just use this and it does the same job! It amazes me. You just apply it to a cotton pad and wipe it over your face and that's you done.. no need to rinse! I can honestly say that it removes every trace of mascara and your face feels so clean and fresh after using it. I find that usually after using cleansing products that you can still feel it on your skin afterwards but with this, you don't feel it at all. It feels just like using pure water. This product is also for all skin types, including sensitive skin which is fab. I, myself have quite sensitive skin and find that some products will sometimes sting my eyes a bit but this doesn't at all. I think it's due to the fact that it's un-perfumed.

As you can see on the bottle, it says that you will get 200 uses out of this and I've been using it for the past month - morning and night - and I've only used a fifth of the bottle so I'd say you could get even more than 200 uses out of it if you don't go wild. I bought this in Superdrug for £4.99 which is a great price for a 400ml bottle. I haven't seen it anywhere else so it may be hard to get your hands on it but if you look about enough, I'm sure you'll find it!
I definitely recommend this product and it's one of the best cleansing products that I have come across for a very long time! If you're looking for a new product to use or you haven't tried Micellar Water before, you should definitely try this :-)

I hope you enjoyed this review and found it helpful! Until next time.. goodbye!

- xoxo

    1. Not a problem! I've actually read that some people thought that this is quite similar to Bioderma so I definitely think that it's worth a try :-) xx

    1. I know simply from working in Superdrug that the L'Oreal one is more popular but that may be due to better/more advertising. The one from the B. range is also quite popular xx

  6. I saw a review of this the other day as well. This definitely sounds like a good product. I have so many products on my to-buy list once all my current ones run out.
