I very much enjoy new things..

Hello lovelies! So this post is kind of a haul post but it hasn't really got a name as it's a combination of Christmas presents, things I've bought on my lunch breaks in work and things I treated myself to online with my Christmas money so it's kind of a whole load of things thrown into one. Anywaaaay, these are all some new little things I've got recently that I'm loving so I just wanted to share them with you guys :-)

Firstly, this was my biggest Christmas present from my amazing Daddy and stepmum, Leeanne (besides flights to New York) and I'm absolutely in love. I've wanted a Canon camera for so long and I finally have one now, yay! This is the Canon Powershot SX500 IS and it's Canon's smallest bridge camera which will be handy for bringing it along to gigs and on holiday to New York. I was so, so shocked when I opened this present because I just wasn't expecting it at all but I'm a happy girl!

This River Island bag was a little present to myself. This bag was originally £40 but I got it for £18 in the ASOS sale (what a bargain!). I'm just a tiny little bit in love with this bag. Look at how beautiful it is!

This cute necklace was a little present from my friend Kerry (among other lovely presents) but I really love it because if you haven't already guessed.. I'm obsessed with leopard print! I wore this on New Year's Eve and you can see my outfit here.

This necklace was a present from my little sister, Ellie. It's definitely a statement piece but I just think it's so cool and original. I wore it teamed with a plain black blouse, jeans and black heels and it made the outfit look so much better!

So I bought myself these little gems because I couldn't live life without these CDs. The 1975 and Kodaline were probably two of my top bands of 2013 and I was so lucky to have seen them both live! They were both amazing and after seeing them live, I fell even more in love. I'm actually going to see The 1975 again because I just love them that much. If you haven't listened to either of these bands before, please do because they're fantastic and I don't know how to describe them so you just have to listen :-)

This book was from my beautiful friend Mollie. This girl is just too thoughtful.. I told her that I wanted to read this so she bought me it and a few other cute presents. I haven't actually had a chance to read it yet because I've been working so much recently but I can't wait to!

This fab book was a present from my friend Lara. Surprisingly, I hadn't bought it for myself so I was super happy when she got me this. If you don't know about my obsession with Union J then you probably don't know me very well (or follow me on Twitter) haha! I can't wait to read this because I'm such a fangirl. Many people don't expect it from me but I really am obsessed. I'm going to see these boys on 12th January and nobody understands how excited I am, omg!

Alien is such a distinctive smell and although I never had it before, I always loved it! So I was very happy to see that my Daddy and Leeanne had bought me this. I've been wearing it every day and I know I'll run out of it very quickly because I just adore it.

This was another lovely little present from my friend Kerry. I've never actually had anything from Lush but it smells amazing and I can't wait to use it!
This was from my amazing friend Shannon who bought me the loveliest presents. For once, I didn't actually get any Soap & Glory stuff this year so I'm very glad that Shannon smartly chose this. I'm going to actually save this for New York as I still have some Soap & Glory things to use up. At the minute, I'm actually using the little box to store all of my lipsticks, lip glosses, etc. in which I thought was cute :-)

This was another little treat to myself. I kept eyeing it up in work and I couldn't resist! It's such a cute little bottle and an amazing colour.. my only complaint is that it chips quite easily.

Have any of you tried this lipstick? Omg, I'm in love. I always use the tester in work so I just had to buy it haha. It looks like a horrible green colour that nobody would dare but on their lips but it's actually a fab bright pink colour that lasts for hours! I'm sorry I don't have a picture of it on.. I didn't even think. For £4.49 though, you can't really beat it! It's almost like a stain as it lasts so long. I would highly recommend this!

As unexciting as it seems, I'm so glad that I finally went and bought one of these. It's a 250gb External Hard Drive. I just needed it to stop clogging up my laptop. I've also cleared my Daddy and Leeanne's laptop (which is pretty slow) and stored everything on this and it's helped it speed up a bit which is great. When I was looking in stores such as PC World, this size of hard drive was working out to be around the £50 mark but online I got it for less than £30 on Amazon (link) which was great.

So that's everything! I did get quite a few other things including onesies, more makeup, etc. but these are the things that I'm really loving so I just wanted to share them with you! What did you guys get for Christmas and do you have any Christmas/recent purchases posts? It feels like Christmas was forever ago now, wow. Anyway, I hope you liked this type of post and until next time, goodbye!

- xoxo

P.S. I'm not trying to brag with this post.. I just wanted to share some of my new things! I hope you all got lovely presents too :-)

  1. My friend has that Barry M lipstick and I was so amazed by how it works!! I think she said that it's supposed to match your skin tone or something but anyway I really want to try it. I know Christmas has gone by super super fast.. I think we're taking our decorations down tomorrow! For Christmas I was given a few small things but my 'big' present from my parents was an Olivia Burton watch... even though they let me wear it months before! I love it. xxx

    1. Yeah, I heard that it matches your skin tone too but I wasn't sure because I haven't seen other people wearing it.. it must be true though, haha! We took our decorations down yesterday which was a little bit heartbreaking but the festive fun has to end sometime I suppose. Oh that's such a lovely present! I'm glad you're loving it :-) thanks for the comment! xx

    1. Yes! I'm totally obsessed with Alien! You really should buy the hard drive.. it's so easy/handy to use and really clears up your laptop/computer. & my laptop crashed a few months ago and I lost everything so at least I know now that I'll have all my photos and that stored elsewhere.

I'll follow you back now lovely! Thank you! xx
