My Princess is leaving me | Life Update

Hello lovelies! You've probably noticed my lack of posts lately and I do apologise. My life has been pretty busy lately so I thought I'd give you a little update before I start posting beauty related posts again.

Firstly, last month consisted of lots of exams.. how nice! But even though it was horrible and I was convinced I was going to fail, I passed all of them! So I'm super happy about that. I didn't do amazingly but I really did think I was going to fail so I really don't mind :-)

Sooo, you may or may not know that I went to see The 1975 on Monday (17th February) but omg, it was so ridiculously amazing! As I'm a tiny 5ft I didn't see much whilst at the gig because the crowd seemed to be made up of giants (or maybe normal sized people compared to me) but I found the perfect spot right at the front where I could see Matt Healy's face perfectly and what a beautiful face it is! I saw The 1975 live at Radio 1's Big Weekend and promised myself that I would see them live again as soon as I could so I was so happy when I was able to get tickets for me and my dad to go and see them! Ok, I know it seems uncool to go to a gig with your dad but my dad is pretty cool and he actually introduced my to The 1975 before they were big so it was awesome going to see them together. They are fabulous live and I would go and see them again, without a doubt. Oh and me and Matty are going to get married.. just letting you all know, haha! Here, have some photos of the fab Matty and me and my dad before we went to the gig..
The Parlour is super dark and my flash was super bright which explains the slightly shocked look, haha. But yeah, this is my awesome daddy!

Lastly, grab the tissues.. one of my bestest girlies is leaving me. My wonderful sugar lump Kerry is going to France for six months to work and I'm feeling totally emotional! She was my first friend where I live and we've got so close in such a short space of time. I don't know what I'm going to do without her! Although we didn't see each other every day, it was so good knowing that she was only two minutes away from my house and our nights out and little get togethers were always the best, most funny things ever! I really wish her all the best though and I know six months will fly by and we'll get back to our partying! She deserves this opportunity so much and I know she'll love it! If you're reading this my little cherub.. good luck, I'll miss you and I love you lots! Looking forward to our Skype dates though ;-) Please appreciate how cute we are though..
Yes that is Simon Webbe, ahaha!

Oh goodness, I'm feeling so soppy and emotional now! But anyway.. you now know what I've been up to and why my blog has been lacking posts. I'm going to try and get back into the swing of things and start posting more reviews and OOTD posts, etc. Have you guys been up to anything interesting lately? Any ideas of posts that I should write? Let me know in the comments below :-)

Until next time, goodbyeeee!

- xoxo

  1. Aw, sounds like you've got lots going on at the moment which is exciting!

I can sympathise with you on the friend-leaving front, as when I had one year of uni left one of my best friends and flatmate of 3 year finished and moved to Kenya where her family live at the moment. Thank goodness for Skype and whatsapp :)

    1. Yeah, it is pretty exciting! It's nice that you understand though.. not a lot of people do! It's such a horrible feeling. But you're right.. we'd be totally lost without technology, haha. Thanks for the comment lovely xx
