One Direction & 5SOS Concert | Life Update

Hello lovelies! I'm so sorry for my lack of posts recently. I've been super busy with university exams (which have been absolutely crap, thanks for asking lol). I just thought I should update you on what I've been up to.

If you know me at all, you will know that I have a ridiculous boyband obsession. I kind of liked some boybands before but the obsession started off with Union J and just grew and grew and I'm now stupidly obsessed with them, The 1975, One Direction and 5 Seconds of Summer. I don't know what it is.. I just can't resist a good looking boy that can sing and that is that.

When I was younger I didn't like boybands but as I've got older, I've become a complete teenage fangirl. So my teenage years have kind of worked in the opposite way to what they usually do, haha. Ah well! They bring me great joy and that is that. So last year me and my stepmum, Leeanne, booked tickets for us and my sister, Ellie, to see One Direction in Croke Park on 23rd May 2014. Waiting almost a year was crazy but it just meant we were ridiculously excited by the time it came. The concert was the most amazing night ever! I'll fill you in a little more but I promised lots of photos to many people so here they are..

So, we got right to the barrier of the middle stage! This is without zoom!
If you follow me on Twitter/Instagram you will know how in love I am with 5SOS's drummer, Ashton haha.

They are the sweetest little things.
How adorable is he!? Aww.

5SOS were absolutely incredible. I'll admit that I only became a fan of 5SOS about 3 or 4 months before seeing them at Croke Park but I've absolutely fallen in love with them. They seem like such genuine, lovely guys who really love and appreciate what they do. Seeing them live just made me love them even more. They're just so sweet! Ashton Irwin needs to marry me asap as I'm totally in love with that boy. They really do sound amazing live and I just love their songs! I really love that 5SOS are a true band that play their own instruments and really have a passion for music. They're quickly becoming my absolute favourite band!

Now, onto One Direction..
Niall was the man of the night at Croke Park!
Harry dancing is just the cutest thing, aww.
Look at the little tricolour on his microphone. Omg I adore him.
After this night, I love Harry more than ever before. He is so sweet.
Liam's dance moves were honestly one of the best things about this show, ahaha.
Niall really done Ireland proud. He's such an amazing guy!
I am sorry but I waved my finger in a really sassy way at Harry and he done it back to me and had a little giggle. He loves me, ok.
Admiring the crowds, awk.

One Direction were so, so, so amazing! Niall has always been my favourite member of One Direction. I still remember his X Factor audition and I loved him because of his blonde hair and his wee Irish accent, haha. (I love anyone with a Southern Irish accent). Because Croke Park was a home-crowd for Niall, the boys really let him own the show! Niall told the crowd that it was almost 4 years to the day that he went to Croke Park to audition and I honestly felt so proud of him because he would've queued to get there and on that night, over 80,000 people queued to see him. He really has done Ireland proud. I don't care that the boys 'had a great platform to start from' and that they're 'manufactured' because although they came about at a time when a boyband was just what was needed, they work super hard to be where they are! Yes, they get help and their fanbase is incredible but the boys work for months on end to make their music, to do concerts, to get promotional tours done, etc. This concert was hands down the best concert I've ever been to! The way the boys spoke throughout the night, you could tell how much it meant to them that Croke Park was and is the biggest crowd they have played to and will play to on their current tour.. especially to Niall. The boys spoke about how proud they are of Niall and they should all be proud of themselves too! They're great guys. So think what you want but I adore them.

I'm sorry if you don't like this type of post or One Direction/5SOS (you so cray if you don't, haha) but I just wanted you guys to know what I've been up to. I'm not giving up on my little blog. However, I won't be blogging for a good little while now.. probably not again until after 10th June as I'm jetting off to New York tomorrow. It will be my first time in New York or even America so I won't be spending my time online, haha. I will update my Twitter and Instragram occasionally so follow me there if you wish :-)

I hope you're all keeping well. I also hope you boyband fans enjoyed the photos, haha. Are any of you going to any concerts this Summer or heading anywhere nice? I'd love to hear about it! Let me know in the comments. Until next time.. goodbye!

- xoxo
