Above the city | New York

Hello lovelies! I'm sorry it's taken so long for the next part of my little New York series but I literally worked every day last week and I just haven't had a minute to myself. But anyway, here it is!

So on our second day, we went to the Empire State building. We got tickets for both the 86th floor and the 102nd observatory! The views were absolutely incredible and the weather was so wonderful that the whole city could be seen so clearly and it just looked wonderful. I took a ridiculous amount of photos but these are some of the best ones :-)

Afterwards we went to Madison Square Gardens and we then planned to take a bus tour to Harlem but we had to walk from MSG to Central Park and on our way there, we bumped into Binky and Louise from Made In Chelsea! Anyone who knows me and Leeanne will know that we absolutely love that show and although we knew that most of the cast were in New York, we never in a million years thought we would jump happen to see them haha. They were just sat outside a restaurant just outside of Times Square but they weren't eating at the time so we went over and spoke to them and they were so, so lovely! They were happy to take to us and take a photo and everything but they said they were super hungover so they put on their sunglasses for the photo, haha! Louise is so tiny in real life, omg.

We then took the bus tour to Harlem and went for dinner at Sylvia's which was lovely. That evening we walked across the High Line, which I would highly recommend! It's a park that has been made on an old railway track that runs through the city and the views are lovely and it's so nice and chilled out. We ended up at the Meat Packing District where we had a few drinks then had a lovely dessert and headed home. It was such an awesome day and me and Leeanne were basically on a high all day after meeting Binky and Louise, haha!

I hope you liked this post! There will be more to come so I hope you do, haha! I will be trying to post more but my work rota is a bit all over the place at the minute and me and my friend Lara have some awesome plans for next year which will take a lot of organising so bare with me if my posting schedule is a bit mad.

Thanks for reading and until next time, goodbye!

- xoxo
