Beach & Boardwalk | New York

Hello lovelies! It's day 8 of my New York series. I was going to say that this was one of my favourite days and then I thought 'but that day was my favourite' about every other day. New York was too incredible to pick a favourite day haha. You'll understand if you've ever been and done as much as we done.

This day we took the train down to Coney Island. We had been so excited about going to Coney Island for months. It just always looks incredible and it definitely didn't disappoint. This day was so, so hot. I think it was almost 40 degrees or something ridiculous like that. I very rarely go bare-legged because I'm just not confident about my legs but I had to a few times in New York as the weather was so, so hot. But I soon got over my leg issues because I couldn't have possibly wore any more clothes or I would've passed out haha. Coney Island is just absolutely buzzing. The boardwalk has so many shops, food places and rides! We're not really ride people (especially Leeanne) and the rides were slightly pricey so we only went on a couple. The rest of the day we just chilled out, ate lots of food and took in the incredible sights and sounds. The hot dogs from Nathan's are awesome. And my dad won me a giant teddy at one of the games, haha. It was so much fun! If it wasn't so hot, we probably would've stayed longer.

That afternoon, I think we went home and had a good ol' nap before heading out to Times Square. Because the Longacre Theatre where Of Mice and Men was being shown was just a street off of Times Square, we went there around the time that the show ended as I hadn't brought my Palo Alto book the first time we went and I wanted it signed. So yes, I met James Franco for a second time and got my book signed. We also met Joel Marsh Garland again who is just so lovely! We met so many more people the first night we went but we didn't mind so much since we had already met them. After that, we just walked around Times Square for a while and went for a coffee and some cheesecake in Junior's. It was such an awesome day!

I hope you enjoyed this post! Thank you for reading :-) only two days to go! Until next time, goodbye!

    1. Thank you so much! Coney Island is great fun and I would definitely recommend it if you're ever visiting New York as it's a great day away from the city, doing something totally different. Ohhh, the food! You need to experience it for yourself.. American food is just something else! Haha :-) thanks for the comment xx
