Getting tatted up | New York

Hello lovelies! This is my final New York post.. I've eventually got there, haha. I hope you've enjoyed them if you've been following this. This was day 10, the last day in the most amazing place in the world. Every time I write one of these posts, I just get so sad and want to go back so much more.

So we walked up Park Avenue (just to make sure we knew where we had to get the bus from later that day) and snapped a few pictures. This was the only day that it rained while we were there. Well it rained one day but it was literally for about 5 minutes so I don't really count that haha. We were so lucky with the weather!

I was so excited but so scared for this day as I was getting a tattoo! Aaaaaah. I wanted to get something that represented my time in New York and I think what me and my tattoo artist, Erica Flannes, put together is amazing! She works at Red Rocket Tattoo (78 W 36th St) and I couldn't have asked for a better artist. I had heard that the thigh was a really sore area to get a tattoo but I honestly didn't think it was bad at all. She made me feel so relaxed and talked away to me. My hip tattoo was a thousand times sorer! Check out my finished tattoo below :-)

While I was getting my tattoo, my daddy and Leeanne done a little shopping so some of these photos are theirs. I love the ones of them wearing the hat Pharrell has been wearing a lot recently, haha! They then came and met me when my tattoo was finished and we headed to Charley's Philly Steaks for lunch as my cousin lived in New York a few years ago and highly recommended it. You'll find it hidden away in Penn Station. My cousin, Chris, was so right though. It was so good! After that, it was time to head back to the hotel, get our bags and get a bus back to the airport and then a flight back to rainy ol' Ireland. I did not want to come home at all! I would've happily just stayed in New York. I know I've said it so many times throughout this little series but it was honestly the most amazing holiday and the best time of my life! As soon as I have enough money to go back to New York, I'll be going back!

Thanks for reading this post and any other New York posts that you may have read. I really hope you enjoyed them :-) if you're planning on going to New York, don't be afraid to ask me any questions at all, big or small. I'll be happy to help! If you are going, I hope you have an amazing time and I would love to hear your stories! Until next time lovelies, goodbye!

- xoxo
