Benefit Roller Lash mascara | Review

Hello lovelies! How are you all? I know I haven't posted in forever but I was so busy with university exams and I just wasn't really thinking about blogging too much. But I'm back and it's with a review!

Unless you've been living under a rock, I'm sure you will have heard of Benefit's new mascara launch.. Roller Lash! Because I work for Benefit I was lucky enough to get the mascara on 13th January on our training day for Roller Lash and Puff Off (review to come soon). I've been using this every time I've done my makeup since so I think that's a long enough time to give this mascara a proper review.

Inside of the training lorry.. How cool!?

Roller Lash has a 12 hour curve-setting formula which claims to visibly lift lashes and give long-lasting curl. I totally agree that it lifts and curls lashes and definitely lasts long. I'm yet to wear the mascara for more than 12 hours but I know it definitely lasts around 10 hours! The way this mascara works is through the 'Hook 'n' Roll' brush which has tiny, little hooks on one side of the brush that catch every lash and lifts and curls those lashes. This mascara was created with those who have straight or short lashes in mind so it really works to curl and lengthen all types of eyelashes so it works for everyone!

Me with and without Roller Lash on on our training day.

Another great thing about Roller Lash is that it's so easily removed. The one thing I personally don't like about the They're Real mascara is how hard and irritating it is to take off so to have a mascara that is so easy to remove is brilliant. I just use my Garnier Micellar Water to take it off and it's so, so easy.

This mascara will be released on 28th February and is priced at £19.50 which is the same as They're Real mascara. I personally prefer the Roller Lash over the They're Real mascara because I think it just works a lot better for me but I know there will still be people who are They're Real fans through and through. To you I say, just give Roller Lash a go! It never hurt anyone to have two mascaras, haha. I know I'll still use They're Real for more dramatic or nighttime looks.

The brush.

As much as this post may seem biased, it really isn't at all. I'm not getting anything for writing this so it's just my honest opinion. I really do love this mascara and I'm so glad that there's now a mascara that's a lot more lightweight and curling than They're Real so I can have two for very different looks. So girls, say bye bye to eyelash curlers and give Roller Lash a try! Get yourself down to your nearest Benefit counter on 28th February and I promise you won't regret it :-)

Thanks for reading this post! I hope you liked it. Have you tried the Roller Lash sample that Elle magazine gave away or were you lucky enough to get a full sized mascara as well? Let me know what you think of it. Until next time, goodbye!
