Beyond Purple and Beyond Blue eyes | FOTD

Hello lovelies! I remember starting this blog and thinking FOTD posts would be the ones I would do most often and I've barely posted any. As I'm posting more recently I'm going to try and squeeze some more into the schedule that I'm currently trying to work out. Today is quite a fun one (if I do say so myself) so I hope you like it! Prepare yourself for lots of selfies.

I'm sure you've heard that Benefit are launching lots of additions to the They're Real family including two mascaras in blue and brown and four push-up gel liners in brown, blue, purple and green. Being a Beauty Advisor for Benefit, I was lucky enough to get my hands on a couple of these products before the official launch on 27th June. I got the mascara in Beyond Blue and the push-up gel liner in Beyond Purple. Here, I'm using the Beyond Purple liner smudged as an eyeshadow (which you can do now due to the new creamier formula) and a bit of Benefit's 'milk it!' eyeshadow on the inner corners with some 'pause for applause' to blend it all out. I'm loooving these products and have been using them both nearly every single day since I received them last week. They're a bit different and so much fun! I will be posting a review on these products very soon so keep your eyes peeled for that.

(Please ignore my awful brows, I'm getting them done on Friday. Woo!)

I teamed this pretty electric coloured eye with a simple nude lip so it wasn't all too much. This nude lip is simply Too Faced's Perfect Lip Liner in Perfect Nude and Gerard Cosmetic's Color Your Smile Lighted Lip Gloss in Butter Cream. Both have replaced all other lip products as my favourites right now. Seriously, how nice do they look!? I adore a nude lip and these products give you the perfect, long-lasting, comfortable one. I will also be reviewing these products soon, along with Gerard Cosmetic's lipstick in Buttercup.

What do you think of these look? I love teaming a bright and exciting eye with a simple but pretty nude lip. It's honestly one of my favourite looks and having the new They're Real products makes it so much easier to achieve. For this look, I'm also using Benefit's Hello Flawless Oxygen Wow foundation in 'Believe in me - Ivory', Benefit's Fake Up concealer in light, Benefit's Browzings in light and Gimme Brow in light/medium, Soap & Glory's Glow All Out luminizing radiance face powder, Benefit's Hoola bronzer and a dusting of Maybelline's Fit Me powder in #125.

I really hope you liked this post! FOTD posts are one of my favourites so I hope you enjoy them too as I really plan on posting more. Thank you so much for reading. Any comments would be greatly appreciated.

With love,

  1. The new liner is what I am most excited about! Cannot wait to get my hands on them all! The mascara looks really great too. Blue always reminds me of those back in the day, but this one looks so good and will be amazing lookin on lashes, as I am addicted to They're Real! Love what you've done with the shadow too! :)
